Credit: 3 Fine Practical Arts

This course is designed to prepare students to enter the workforce through on-the-job training in the form of an apprenticeship combined with class instruction. Training in class will continue with release time for the apprenticeship as coordinated by the instructor. Students will have the opportunity to learn their skills in supervised practical experience on the job.

- Prerequisite: Successful completion of Advanced Principles of Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.

Required supplies - student-provided
- Footwear: Safety-toe boots (Steel or Composite toe). Must be slip-resistant. Both tie-up and slip-on styles are acceptable.
- Head Protection: Hard hat (Mandatory to purchase directly at Washington Square).

- Visibility: High-visibility safety vest.
- Hand Protection: Work gloves.
