EMT students collaborate with industry partners
- Empower
- Engage
Fridays in EMT at FutureForward at Washington Square consists of skills practice.
These students have assessments every Friday to see where they are expected to be by the end of the year, where they are now, and where they can improve. That way by the end of the year, they are where they need to be.
These assessments are conducted by industry partners from Thornton Fire Department, Stadium Medical, Denver Health Paramedics Division, and Mile High Ambulance. Thank you for the time you have taken in helping these students prepare and empowering them in the field!
In a way this is also preparing these students for college. When you take classes in college you are also presented with a syllabus which explains what you will be learning in that class to help prepare the student for success.
Thank you for all that you do!
