Welcome to Learning Services at Future Forward. FutureForward has developed a reputation for being very inclusive for students with a wide variety of exceptionalities, including Gifted and Talented, Learning Disabled, Hearing Impaired, and Autism, among others. Our staff works hard to ensure that instruction is differentiated when necessary and that all students are challenged to be successful in achieving the course standards and maximizing their potential. We provide all the special services that students can access at their home high schools, including implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and ALPs.

When is GT testing in my school?
Universal Screening: In Adams 12 Five Star Schools, 2nd and 6th graders who are not already identified GT participate in the Universal Screening process for potential gifted and talented identification. Find more detailed information regarding Universal Screening in the Five Star District.
Important dates for the Universal Screening process at our school: Universal screening is not done at the high school level. GT testing is at the high school level is done upon request.
Parent/Staff/Student GT Recommendation: All students can participate in the GT identification process by submitting a complete body of evidence. Find more detailed information regarding the GT recommendation process in the Five Star District.
If you are interested in having your child be considered for the GT identification process you need to contact your GT Coordinator for school specific information.

Our school offerings include: Students can participate in a variety of Career and Technical Student Organizations including TSA, SkillsUSA, FCCLA, and HOSA. These CTSOs all have competitions, and our students are strongly encouraged to participate. Often FutureFoward students go on to compete at the national level. Students can also elect to earn the Colorado Career Ready Certificate.
Our school offerings include: FutureForward staff strives to know each student on a personal and individual basis. The development of 21st Century Workplace Skills is emphasized in all programs. Our students have the opportunity to serve as leaders as Student Ambassadors. In addition, we have a dedicated Counseling staff who can help students solve problems and provide assistance with the college application process.
