Intro to Medical Careers

Pathway: Health Science 

Grades: 10,11,12
Credit:  1 Fine/Practical Arts or Elective

Are you considering a career in the medical field? How will you choose from the numerous specialties available in this field?  This engaging introductory course will provide students with the opportunity to interact with medical professionals and explore the many opportunities available.  In addition to this fun exploration, students will be introduced to basic medical terminology, gain an introduction to body systems, and practice leadership and teamwork through participation in HOSA (Future Health Professionals).
