Introduction to Aviation and Aeronautical Engineering explores the evolution of flight, navigation and control, flight fundamentals, aerospace materials, propulsion, weather dynamics and flight planning. In addition, this course provides students with the opportunity to engage in activities that support their skills development in the area of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This includes small, medium, and large aviation vehicles (AV), flight and ground control processes, FAA regulations, UAS applications, mission operations, ethical and human factors concerns, and future considerations. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credits.
