The Auto Technology program is National Automotive Technical Education Foundation (NATEF) certified in all eight areas. Instructors are Master ASE Certified. Auto Technology II students must demonstrate a strong interest in the auto technology industry. This program is designed to provide a thorough knowledge of engine performance, advance charging systems, advanced brakes, alignments, suspension, electrical system diagnostics, engine rebuilding, and emission testing. Students will have the opportunity to obtain student ASE certifications. It is expected that students will enroll in the AYES program.

● Students may have the opportunity to earn college credits.
Counseling Notes:
1. Prerequisite: Completion of Automotive Technology 1 & 2
2. Students that complete this course are eligible to test for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. This certification may be used to demonstrate competency for new graduation guidelines.
3. Safety glasses, shop shirt, and appropriate shoes are required.
