The Auto Technology program is National Automotive Technical Education Foundation (NATEF) certified in all eight areas. Instructors are Master ASE Certified.
Auto Technology 1 & 2 program provides great opportunities for students interested in careers related to the automotive industry. Students will gain a thorough knowledge of engine performance, electronic diagnostics, light maintenance, brakes, tires, cooling systems, chassis, drivetrains, fuel systems, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Students will have the opportunity to obtain student ASE certifications in the automotive field.

● Students may have the opportunity to earn college credits.
Counseling Notes:
1. Students that complete this course are eligible to test for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. This certification may be used to demonstrate competency for new graduation guidelines.
2. Safety glasses, shop shirt, and appropriate shoes are required.
